Tech Equity & Innovation Conference Returns to Philadelphia
Innovation Weekend will return October 24 - 26 to celebrate and advance equity in Philadelphia’s tech and innovation community
Philadelphia, PA | September 30, 2024 - 1Philadelphia, the initiative leading a city-wide strategy to make Philadelphia the capital of equitable tech and innovation, announced the return of the third annual Innovation Weekend (October 24-26). The 2024 Innovation Weekend will convene hundreds of innovators and change makers from across the region for three days of inspired conversation, purposeful networking and meaningful takeaways to advance diversity and equity in Philadelphia’s tech and innovation community.
The past two years have brought together employers, entrepreneurs, technologists, philanthropists and local government officials all committed to fostering a tech ecosystem that supports access, interest and advancement for underrepresented communities. This year promises to bring a level of urgency as we gather leaders to help combat Philadelphia’s recent designation as the least economically mobile large city in the United States.

This year's theme, UNBOUND, is an invitation to move beyond conventional frameworks to construct new ways of learning and doing that help us realize real impact for all people that want to be involved in the tech and innovation sectors.
